What is the Senior Resource Clinic?
The Clinic is a central place where Caregivers meet weekly and the public and professionals can gather information on resources and support available to seniors and chronically ill individuals. There is a wealth of information and literature available to the public for free, from information on government benefits, housing options, financial advisors, insurance information, moving and transportation services, recreational activities, to caregiver support groups and services, and much more.
The information available changes daily. Feel free to just stop in and gather the literature you feel may be helpful to you. You are also welcome to lounge and have a cup of coffee while reading one of our many books on the dementia related diseases and other senior issues.
There is no obligation to meet with Laura. The purpose of the Clinic is to provide advocacy regarding hte non-legal issues that affect my clients. I understand and appreciate that the legal part of any representation is only a small part of the navigation the world of caring for your aged or chronically ill family members, clients, and friends.
Professionals are welcome to propose their services to the public through literature and other resources upon approval by the attorney. Feel free to bring your own literature displays and materials for the Clinic.
Professionals are welcome to use the seminar rooms and clinic for presentations at no cost. Please call and speak to Laura directly to book a date. If you wish to have Laura speak at a presentation, please call at least one month in advance to ensure availability.
