Laura M. Krohn is a Certified Elder Law Attorney* with an office located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. She received her Bachelors in Business Science from Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island, and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts. She is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey. Laura concentrates in Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, and other legal and non-legal issues affecting the elderly, disabled and their families. Laura is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Rhode State Bar Association. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association — Rhode Island Chapter.
*Ms. Krohn has been Certified by the National Elder Law Foundation. It is the only Elder Law Certification recognized by the American Bar Association. The Rhode Island Supreme Court licenses all lawyers in the general practice of law. The court does not license or certify any lawyer as an expert or specialist in any field of practice.

Stacia Pietropaolo, Senior Editor
Stacia is a senior at the University of New Hampshire. Her concentrated fields of study include Marketing and Psychology. A native of North Providence, Rhode Island, Stacia has plans to return to The Ocean State after graduation. Her firsthand experience caring for her own
grandparents, who have been affected by Alzheimer's Disease, has inspired her involvement in this project on a personal, fundamental, and professional level.
Nathan Tower, Editorial Assistant
Nate is a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts and lives in Westerly, Rhode Island. Originally from Maine, Nate understands the importance of community involvement in New England. His compassion for writing, creativity and design has made him an irreplaceable

Gretchen Caramiciu, Paralegal
